Theo Quant was named a Merit Award recipient in the Finance and Insurance track of the PolyU × Waterdrop International Future Challenge (Hong Kong Region), organized by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University's Knowledge Transfer and Entrepreneurship Office.
The PolyU × Waterdrop International Future Challenge is The Hong Kong Polytechnic University's flagship innovation and entrepreneurship competition, sponsored by Waterdrop Inc. and Huawei Cloud Hong Kong, with support from Cathay Pacific, Nike, and NTT. The Hong Kong Main Track drew more than 700 teams worldwide, with around 30 advancing to the final round across five domains: cargo and travel, finance and insurance, health, information and communications technology, and sports.
Theo Quant's recognition in the Finance and Insurance track adds to the firm's growing footprint within Hong Kong's innovation and technology ecosystem, alongside its work building systematic arbitrage strategies for institutional and professional investors.
